Risk Based Maintenance Training

Risk based maintenance is considered one of the main pillars to ensure plant reliability. Without a proper maintenance programme even the best equipment or instrument will fail. Failing equipment will result in production loss, reduced profit and impact safety, on the other hand too much maintenance will impact costs negatively.

So how do you determine the right amount of maintenance? Well through a risk based maintenance approach.

What will you learn

This 3 day comprehensive course will explain the different types of failures, the different methodologies companies can apply such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM). The course contains several workshops and exercises, where the students will develop risk based maintenance strategies.

This course differentiates itself of most other FMEA or RCM courses, because it not only explains the theory and methodology, but also provides practical information on how to set up and run a project to develop and implement risk based maintenance strategies in your organisation. It highlights pitfalls and challenges that people can encounter while developing and implementing risk based maintenance strategies.
